“CRAFTING WITH WASHI” WORKSHOP
Class Description
Washi, literally meaning “traditional Japanese paper”, is a centuries old tradition used to decorate aspects of daily lives. These delicate papers are known for their vibrant colors and intricate details and designs. In this class, you will learn how to create and decorate contemporary household accessories and jewelry using these Asian papers and various sealants. We will learn how to use these gorgeous papers to make pendant jewelry, magnets, greeting cards, decorative gift tins, and more to take home with you! No experience needed.

NEEDLE FELTING: A BEGINNER’S WORKSHOP
Class Description
Did you know that wool is a magical material with unique properties that lends itself to being sculpted? In this class, you will transform a pile of un-spun wool (called roving) into a creation all your own using the process of needle felting. Basic techniques will be explored and you’ll leave with the ability to create more at home. No experience needed.
