I've taken a year off from sewing and crocheting full-time. This year I'm figuring out a new schedule that fits with me working, being a mom, wife, maid, and artist. On a recent trip to Joann's I discovered Debbie Stoller of Stitch Nation has a line of yarn. Remember I've been out of the creative world for a while, and that includes shopping for yarn. The yarn was on sale and I had some money to burn from Christmas gifts. Here's a photo of the yummy yarn I purchased!
There was three types and I picked a mix of them all:
-Bamboo Ewe made of 55% viscose from bamboo and 45% wool
-Alpaca Love made of 80% wool and 20% alpaca
-Full O' Sheep made of 100% Peruvian wool.
What drew me to the yarn was not only the name brand and natural material but the colors. It was like I was looking at candy they are so bright and pure. I wish it was edible!
This photo of the yarn was taken on a recent side-of-the-road find. My husband and I are known for doing this and have gotten my dad involved. He picked it up but unfortunately no sewing machine inside. It's a little beaten up but with a good polish I'll get back to new and put it to use.
